It’s true!!! Your immediate family members (spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relationships) may be allowed to join our credit union!
Here’s how:
• Individuals who fall within the field of membership of our current community charter are eligible to join the TFCU. This includes persons who live, work, worship or attend school, or businesses and legal entities located in Essex, Washington, Warren, Clinton and Franklin Counties in New York and Addison County in Vermont.
• It is not necessary for that eligible individual to join the credit union in order for an immediate family member to join. That means immediate family members are allowed to join our credit union even if the relative is not a member, as long as the relative is currently within our credit union’s field of membership.
